Walkers and hikers are spoilt for choice on Skye. Close to the Woodhouse are the stunning Macleod’s Tables and the breathtaking Ramasaig cliffs. For serious climbers, the challenging Cuillins in the south, are a great opportunity to explore more of the island.

Family attractions include Dunvegan Castle, seal-spotting boat trips, the stunning Coral beach and Neist Point Lighthouse. For a breathtaking dip dive into the delightful fairy pools at Glenbrittle. And if you fancy some fine dining, head for the award-winning Three Chimneys restaurant before coming home to curl up in front of the fire.wallpaper

Ground floor
One king-size room with en-suite bathroom, one double room with bunk bed, master bathroom.

First floor
One king-size room with en-suite bathroom, one large double room with two single beds.


Travel cot (please request when booking), high chair, Baby Bjorn sling (up to six months). All linen, bedding, towels provided, apart from sleep/grow bags for the travel cot (sheets provided). Beds will be ready made for your arrival.


WiFi, Sky, TV/DVD, CD/iPod music system, dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron and board, hairdryer. Mobile phone reception for most networks. Ample parking space for cars.


Electricity and gas are included in the rental price. Wood will be stored for when you arrive. Please replace (no coal) for the next guests, before you leave.

The Woodhouse is on unfenced croft land and has an eco-friendly design for minimal energy consumption and low carbon emissions.
