The Woodhouse

The Woodhouse is situated on a remote headland in the north west of Skye. It can feel like driving to the end of the earth to get there – but once you've arrived, the peace, comfort and glorious surroundings are a very worthy reward.roomview

The Woodhouse has a contemporary design based on a traditional Scottish longhouse. It’s furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern pieces – the style is understated but comfortable.

The spacious living area – with spectacular views of the sea, Dunvegan Head and the Outer Hebrides – has a wood-burning stove and is open plan, yet incredibly cosy. The oak floors are heated by an eco-friendly energy system so the Woodhouse is snug even on the coldest of nights.

There’s a well-equipped kitchen, four bedrooms (two en-suite), sleeping up to eight (6+2), large bathroom with bath & shower, utility room – and it’s fronted by a large deck, perfect for whale & dolphin spotting, enjoying the glorious sunsets and on clear nights, losing count of the shooting stars.
